People of Hong Kong have been voicing out clearly and loudly, urging the Hong Kong government to close ALL borders with China. Nobody understands the inaction of the government: is that a political consideration or #CarrieLam doesn't really care people's lives?pic.twitter.com/YiwcrMtpjI
Hong Kong people have demanded full closure of borders with China in the beginning of #CoronavirusOutbreak. But the arrogant and stubborn Carrie Lam keeps ignoring our demands, like what she did to #HongKongProtests fighting for freedoms and democracy. #StandWithHongKongpic.twitter.com/n39eiYC9Jc
When many cities in China have already blocked traffic with other cities, Hong Kong is still relying on voluntary self-quarantine. The number of infected cases is going up. Community transmission cases are found. The Hong Kong Government is still unwilling to close the border.
We asked #CarrieLam to shut all borders, she refused. 11K Chinese fled to Hong Kong on 6 Feb.
Even our medics hv not enough masks, she asked us where could the Gov get masks (while #HKPolice could have full gear at work).

tbh, it's too late now. should've been done 2 weeks ago.
nearly 20,000 potential #ChinaCoronaVirus-carriers entered HK across the border on Feb 5 - 6 alone.
the only logical reason for ignoring opinions of medical experts is... it's the govt's plan all along.
#EvilHKGovernment
Guangzhou and Shenzhen have already become an epidemic area. Hong Kong as the nearest city could possibly become the next one, while the government still refuses to have a full border closure. It’s too late now. #HongKong #coronavirus
