Hitler was a loser. He failed to inspire, created only the illusion of a functional economy. He wasn't even a good military commander. @TomRTweets deconstructs the all too common myth that Hitler was a good leader.https://washex.am/2t8pgNe

The Holocaust was pretty bad, too.

Yeah, but he ended the depression and that’s all the elites in Germany were really concerned about. They thought they’d ride him like a horse to regain prosperity. Kind of like conservative elites and Trump! They will be regretting it for decades too.

If the school system did its job and taught history, the all too common myths wouldn't be so common.

Of course, there are other lessons that should come out of that period. Hitler's invincibility myth was born out of his successes in the late 30's and early 40's because his opposition was weak, appeased him, and weren't prepared for him. Lessons that apply today.

He fucked up bad. He sort of miraculously survived a bombing in July 1944. That made many Germans believe he was a messiah. He himself also thought he had been chosen by God to lead Germany to glory and victory. But the allied countries taught him a difficult lesson.

The world needs someone like him to take leadership and sort out this mess created by some elites.

Hitler and his regime certainly militarized German society and was able to get things organized, as has been said “he made the trains run on time.” Unfortunately that organization and efficiency led to offensive wars and the Holocaust

But we should be grateful for Hitler‘s delusions of as a military commander. But for him, the war could’ve lasted a couple of more years. In fact but for Hitler, Germany might have succeeded
