To folks talking about being a better candidate or that it's not about race or whatever: that's not the point, the point is inequity of opportunity and that the way the system works makes it harder for minorities or those who aren't rich to have a shot.

We all heard "anyone can be a leader or even president some day" growing up and social class makes that much less true, the Squad are the only ones i can think of living the American ideal and starting off with nothing and leading the country.
