I’m not sure if they realize it but those that receive government assistance in the form of food stamps actually can purchase seeds to grow a vegetable garden

I'm okay with adding green space & comm gardens to public housing developments to help the elimination of "food deserts", but organic grocers wouldn't be a good fit because the higher cost of organically grown foods would only further dent the budgets of people with low incomes

If they produced ~billions of dollars I’d be for it. But inevitably they’d produce likely little, very few would use them, and the cost of maintenance would collapse their little urban farms. But why not just go for it, it’s a part of the process, right?
