We just WON the big court case on Net Neutrality Rules! A great win for the future and speed of the internet. Will lead to many big things including 5G. Congratulations to the FCC and its Chairman, Ajit Pai!

Back in June, we looked at the numbers and despite fears that ending net neutrality regulations would be the "end of the internet as we know it," average speeds are UP. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/average-internet-speed-up-one-year-after-net-neutrality-repeal …pic.twitter.com/9Zwf5Oy8iC

Wait! So less government regulation led to more competition and better products at lower prices Ya don’t say...

just wait until someone use it as a way to throttle down certain kinds of traffic. that happened here with vodafone. after a certain amount of traffic they slowed down one click hosters, p2p and even things like steam. with net neutrality this was no longer the case.

The only issue is censorship by Twitter and Facebook

this is bs. before we had net neutrality some providers even limited some kinds of traffic here in germany. steam for example, one click hosters, and p2p was throttled. just because they could. be happy that no one tried it yet in america. i'm happy that i have it here in germany

Lol. Using a speedtest index from one testing site. Oh gee whiz on that very site Ookla rates the global average fixed broadband speed as having risen 38 percent, bigger number than ours but maybe someday the world will thank us for making their internet faster thru NN repeal.

Not the point. Speed is going to increase because of the improvements in technology, which was going to happen anyway. This allows the ISPs to control what you see and how much it costs. Just wait.
