I think we should know where the “whistleblower” got their information. At the very least, it should be confirmed that the source had first hand knowledge. How do we know this wasn’t a complete fabrication?

It is expedient (and lowly) to go after the source like a piñata. He should ask the Trump-appointed IC Inspector General who conducted separate interviews and determined the complaint had merit and urgency.

I think this whole thing is a political hack job, but exposing the WB sets a terrible precedent that moves us another inch closer to a government with too much power.

No it doesn’t. Having chosen to operate as a political operative, the political spy should not be allowed to hide behind his role as an intelligence officer. Allowing him to abuse his trust in that way would destabilize our system of checks and balances.
