That would have been a useful tactic before Trump moronically released a heavily edited "transcript" that still admitted his guilt. Half of all Republicans may be confused as to whether the White House "transcript" mentioned Biden, but most people aren't that dumb.

It was inaccurate. New secure method to hold Presidential phone transcript/memo was in place since spring of '18. Stop the leaking. It's one of those inaccuracies which points to political hit job, like the dossier, and the wrong Michael Cohen in Prague. Fabrication.

Except for that pesky little fact that a Trump-appointed ICIG found the report to be credible and urgent, and the Trump-appointed DNI made it clear the whistleblower and ICIG both acted appropriately, in good faith, and were backed up by the Trump "transcript".
