A few more New Zealanders caved, reported numbers were <1000 firearms out of police-estimated 1.2-1.5 million (4.7 million population) and 7000 total owners showed up to buyback programs. But these numbers maintain my respect or Kiwi gun owners. Look at Hong Kong; 'nuff said.
