It's a good idea, as long as we're talking about good reputable countries when it comes to medicine. The FDA is way too slow, and the cost of healthcare in the u.s. is borderline criminal.

How about removing the ability for drug companies to patent minor changes on old drugs and keep the patents on the drug? This is what makes insulin so expensive. Let the drug companies patent improvements, but keep the older version as a generic.
