The United States women's national soccer team deserves equal (or better!) pay than their male counterparts. The WNBA and Women's Tennis Association still have some work to do. @mchastain81https://washex.am/2JnU7dZ

🤣🤣🤣when womens soccer is as popular as mens soccer than they could talk. What is the attendance at womens soccer games in the US? 2,000 - 3,000 tops?? Men's get 20,000 to 30,000?? Then should the men learn 10x more??

Any team should get what their fans will pay. I am not a fan and hope the nasty girls leave the team. Playing soccer was their main job but their side jobs (hating on Trump and Americans who elected him) made them poor representatives of our country.

IMHO... pay should be based on percentage of revenue generated. For both men and women.

It’s all about revenue...if they don’t make the revenue they don’t get the money

They accepted the job at this salary. Always comparing salary or success to others is the express lane to miserable. If women’s soccer is up in profitability, they need to renegotiate. And perhaps owners of men’s need to lower pay and add incentive driven bonuses.

They need leverage for their negotiations because the USSF fights them every step of the way. That's what they are doing by suing and making the fight public. Also, it's not just pay. It's training conditions, marketing $$, etc.

They deserve nothing secondary to their last contract agreement.

The ladies make 16 percent while the men only get 9. Now here’s where the economics lesson comes in: the Men’s World Cup makes 4 times the revenue of the Ladies. So they make less percentage-wise than the ladies, but it’s from a much, much larger source.
