We applaud the dozen Republicans who voted for the resolution. We hope Congress’ next step is to pass a bipartisan bill curbing presidential emergency powers.https://washex.am/2TL6l6y

This is one of those meaningless "moral" victories the virtue signaling, sanctimonious "conservatives" are addicted to. It ignores the fact there is humanitarian & border crisis, that Congress gave the President emergency powers, and that Congress has failed to do its job.

Are you kidding me? The #TraitorousTwelve betrayed this country by voting to allow this horrific invasion of #IllegalAliens to continue unstopped. There is no excuse for such stupidity. Today, I left the @GOP and re-registered as #NoPartyPreference. @senatemajldr @GOPLeader

Where in the hell was all this enthusiasm when ‘Prince’ Obama was throwing out exec orders like crazy? @GOP I did not hear one call to limit his damn powers, and he ran the gamut! If the president can’t use powers granted under the Constitution, what’s the point??

I do remember RINOs warning him that this expansion of power would one day be in the hand of the Republicans so tread carefully. When he ignores them and expands anyway, they refuse to follow through. Almost as if the big talk were just a show for constituents & w/o sincerity.

This is why the Washington Examiner is known as the birdcage liner of newspapers just behind the NY Slimes and the Washington Compost...

Coming to realize this. I at first confused them with the Washington Times, a good newspaper.
