The Commander in Chiefs job is to protect the Nation. Our Borders are being breached and we have no way of knowing which ones are just asylum seekers and which ones mean to do us harm. Yes, it's an emergency when our Borders aren't secure. Time to secure them.

For many years the Constitution was what Anthony Kennedy's swing vote decided. It now means what any Federal judge decides for a nationwide injunction. And with Chief Justice Roberts turning into another swing justice he will decide what the Constitution means. Spare me, please!

Outside of an act of war this would rank highly on uses on the emergency act. It’s a domestic threat of illlegal entry to the opioid crisis. A lot of the other causes otter presidents used were on the other side of the planet!

So as Congress does NOT do their job, the American people should remain unprotected due to the lack of border security. To what end do we allow these illegals into our country? Something had to be done!!!

“Conservatives will live to regret this use of emergency powers, because it will be used in ways they won't like.” Just like the nuclear option in the Senate for Dems. Both parties guilty of being very short sighted.
