16 year olds would vote the same way 18-21 year olds vote, but worse. Generally speaking, it's a bad idea to have your countries future determined by the least experienced and least educated of your population.

Like people who have little idea of the realities of being employed for a living. Like people who have never encountered making choices between rent, and food. Like people who haven't experienced life... and would understand what voting means to their future.

The question is, just why would we even want to allow this. There're enough problems with individuals who really have little understanding of the long term consequences of their actions, or vote. One ought have some skin in the game before deciding what'll impact, people who do.

Badly. They would vote badly. I'm an elections official, and when the law allows 17 year-olds to vote in Presidential primary years (if they will be 18 in November), we wind up remaking half of their ballots.
