Trump isn't the typical GOP politician she's used to dealing with. Guess, she's finding out the only way. Seriously, what politician would be playing politics with the security of her citizens? The odds are stacked against those opposed to building the wall.

really? He just outed himself as a selfish hypocrite, as he prevented her from visiting troops during the shutdown, like he did himself 2 weeks ago, and cancelling foreign travel is not on par with cancelling the SOTU. This was a pretty tepid response.

Pelosi should troll back: "Mr. President: Thank you for your letter. As I will not be visiting our troops in Afghanistan, I will be iin DC asking my committee chairman to subpoena your tax returns, those of your children, and all of your business entities. Love ya. Mean it."

What Trump did is reveal the travel plans of Congressmen in advance including to a warzone, potentially making them a target of ISIS and Al Qaeda. His cutting off a flight is a fail. House can charter a private plane, but putting them in the way of a bomber is borderline treason.

OK, I have a legit question here. Forget about WHY Trump cancelled the CoDel. What legal authority did he have to do so? DoD is fully funded. The CoDel raised no Anti-Deficiency Act issues. Is it just b/c he is Commander-in-Chief that he was able to do this?

He’s Commander in Chief, her request for a “military aircraft” goes through The Office of Presidential Advance just like everyone in Congress. The issue here is her secret service detail isn’t funded due in no small part to Democrat & Republican posturing instead of negotiating.
