McCain couldn't get past Prez's comment (which was brought on by McCain calling Trump supporters, which included other POWS, crazies), so he screwed his constituents over personal feelings. That is not heroic.

He did, and he did it on purpose. McCain was more concerned with sabotaging POTUS, then keeping his promises to his constituents. He was a very bitter man. I think he was jealous because a rookie won the Presidency when he could not.

100% correct. McCain’s vote for the bill ends the debate. By leaving the situation half resolved and half unresolved it’s still a big issue. And it shouldn’t be.
