Trade deficits don't matter. Why are you increasing my taxes Donnie?

We raise our tariffs, they raise their tariffs, the price of everything goes up. Our ability to buy stuff goes down. Everyone buys less. Everyone is worse off. Except for the Government. They have more of our money to waste

Increase production during trade deficits. The country has more money and consumers must spend a bit more in good made here. That ought to decrease those numbers. Don't go crazy on spending. Buy American during trade deficits, and watch it all turn around.
