No one could have seen this coming. Btw, there is a word for this kind of stuff - affinity fraud. It’s where you rob fellow members of your own group. And it’s happening across the political spectrum, fwiw.

Investors in play-to-earn gaming startup SolChicks have jumped ship after realizing the extent of the token’s highly centralized supply. The project once shilled by Ice Cube is down more than 80% in a month, amid other shady practices coming to light.

can we really trust the future of web3 from someone who spent "literally decades" building a following on LinkedIn, of all places? also, "not your keys not your content" bruh you literally have a godmode ability to swap accounts on-chain what are you talking about

(and if you thought anything about this network was actually centralized, no, only miners pre-approved by nader can add blocks to the chain) nader's product guy will handwave that and say we're decentralization maxis for caring! funny guy

in any case, no doubt every single project nader throws VC funds at will have to run a node but because deso technically still runs on a PoW, nader is likely mining deso at a loss (theres no more mining rewards because of capped supply) PoS implementation soon! lol

nader's current big push is the Octane Fund, which he's built to distribute some of the $30-40 million in Bitcoin he cashed in last year (about 25% of BitClout's initial raise) are incubators meant to fund a dozen projects that all do the same thing?

but maybe the most offensive part of nader's scheme is his fake Foundation, which proudly presents the names of VCs he convinced could profit from retail marks if they just bought the far left hand side of his up-only bonding curve this is to lure in MORE marks as exit liquidity

if nader truly believed what hes selling, the tokenomics should skew in the favor of creators instead, every creator must suffer profit-seeking VCs and whales who've taken any opportunity to dump as much as they can without destroying the market entirely over the past year

the saddest part of 's collapse is that the value of the personalities, art, ideas, opinions, and creativity that nader hopes to monetize on his dystopian LinkedIn-esque fever dream is devalued along with it what was once a "$1 billion" ecosystem is now worth half that

remember: nader personally sold to folks directly via his website for $185 a pop before arbitrarily cutting the supply to prepare a liquidity event for his cap table anyone who bought around there has lost 75% of their money and this guy is peddling web3 is for you lmao
