It’s time to radically shrink the footprint of the failed federal govt. This shutdown taught us all how unreliable govt is. Time to turn the federal behemoth back over to the states and the citizens and limit the federal govt to its constitutionally delineated responsibilities.

We can start by abolishing the corrupt FBI & replace it with an ethical organization that serves and not terrorizes the citizens.

We the people, need to OWN the control of this country. We keep allowing false interpretation of our founding to grow our government in ways it was not intended.. America was about limiting government which had always been a necessary evil.

I was just thinking about the out of control agencies & or agents. When they have more power, no longer answer to or obey the executive or legislative branches, they are unconstitutional. Take them to the court, remove their funding, abolish their power.

they don't answer or obey the executive. that's the judicial system, congress has oversight but no they are not working for the president. political appointees may exercise some authority but those appointees are not doing the grunt work. Their oath isn't to the president

How about the constitutional authority to coin our own money supply. Why did we sign that away to the failed federal reserve?

To pay for WWII and 22 trillion debt pays for the last 18 years of war. There is not enough tax money to pay for wars when half of it pays the interest on the debt. Wars are never budgeted.

I so agree. Privatize many things and the states can run their own parks better than the government anyway. From the beautiful state of Utah with many national parks.
