And about 20 million people who did not have insurance before, but have it now....those people too. They really support it.

Dear Al, Until you’re willing to do the hard work of explaining the destructive ramifications of community-rating, guaranteed issue, and 3rd party payer effects I strongly suggest you stick to boxing. Thanks.

although now that I think about it, what I tweeted was not an opinion, it was a fact.
-
So many of us ended up worse off with it when self employed. Paying more for less with incredibly high deductibles.
-
Same boat, self employed, got hit with penalty, pay taxes for those who got ACA, couldn't afford my own health care.
-
I’m self employed, and the ACA was literally a life saver when my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now with a preexisting condition, we are terrified of how the GOP is trying to kill our healthcare.
-
Sorry to hear about your wife and I hope she's doing better. I understand how you feel because that's how we felt when Obamacare went in. I want my family to be able to go to the doctor when needed like we used to be able to do vs having to make financial decisions every time.
-
We might not agree on much, but we should be able to agree some benefited from Obamacare and others were harmed by it.

70% of elected Republicans!
-
Unbelievably scary. I will be retiring in a couple years and will be forced into Obamacare when I do. I am a Republican and I am not happy about the fact that I will be paying about $1200 a month plus a $6000 deductible. Yikes! REPEAL!
-
That's actually good. For my family of 5 it would cost $1,800 a month. I went to a sharing ministry.

I long for the days before Obamacare. They called it a crisis. It was the good old days as far as healthcare is concerned
-
I do as well.

People who support Obamacare get it for free and get cost share support as well. The rest of us hate it because it sucks. High costs and high premiums. It's also made employer plans more expensive due to Medicaid expansion. It's called the rub.
-
What would happen, theoretically, of Medicaid expanded to everyone?
-
Drs would go under since reimbursements under Medicaid are so low. In 2014 when Medicaid was expanded in states, drs had to close membership or not accept Medicaid patients. Cant keep the lights on with the small amounts of reimbursement
-
It's true. Doctors would just stop existing if we switched to a single payer system. That's what happened in Canada and the UK. People are stuck eating hand sanitizer if they get an infection. It's so sad.
