Over 30,000 Federal employees make over $174,000.00 per year. Enough to become Elitists no longer seeing themselves in those they are supposed to serve. Their entitlement and retirement will keep them elite for life.

Insider trading is legal for Congress. How else do so many become multi millionaires while in public service? "Pay for Play"?

@dbongino I’m a federal worker. I’m a wildland firefighter for the forest service I make 16 an hour and sleep in the dirt all summer if I’m lucky I’ll see my wife and kids every 14 days. Yet my bosses in Washington make 5 times that it wrong.

No chance. If federal workers were underpaid, they’d leave their jobs in the bureaucracy to go into the private sector, where their paychecks would be drawn on the wealth they’d created vs. being drawn on the fruits of other people’s labor confiscated by the taxman.

Of course they say this. They want every worker to be employed by the government.

Because it’s their largest, most reliable voter block. And it got that way because of this very same erroneous “underpaid” claim, repeated over decades of election cycles. 🎠🐷🎰💵🎪

Federal workers have the best deal with salary, benefits, automatic raises and protection from firing. State workers have the next best deal for the same reasons, except raises are not usually automatic because legislatures have to allocate raises.
