    If you think you know what I mean, you don't. I'm talking like 30 mph / 50 kph winds. They push you around as you're walking, and you are seriously unhappy about sand blowing into your eyes at that speed.

    This is a super interesting comment. Should enterprise look to hyperscalers? Not necessarily, their interest is selling. Should they look to webscale startups? Perhaps not, they often are so early they build their own. So who exactly can they look to?

    RT : "large enterprises adoption rate remains less than 20%" - hyperscale cloud providers have to be the source of hybrid cloud innovation. n. < and most enterprises will look to hyperscalers for strategy and tech guidance

    On time and on budget is the opposite of how to get a seat at the table. That's being a project manager. How about delivering value in partnership with other leaders, and comparing value provided across the tech portfolio?

    Inability to measure progress in a way business leaders understand . “On time and on budget” are great results - but it will never help IT get out of cost center mindset by itself

    Definitely a change I've purposefully made in myself over the years.

    Love this additional point on over-eager employees who answers all questions. There needs to be negative space for people outside of a company to contribute (and to set the right expectation for everyone).

    I’ve been reviewing talks for for several years. I’ve probably reviewed 700 or so submissions I’d guess? Their seems to be some odd opinions about talk selection kicking around.

    The Xen Project community is saddened by the news of the passing of our Advisory Board Chair, Lars Kurth. Lars was a wonderful open source advocate and friend and he will be deeply missed.
