@dbarrett how do you deal with board members, employees, or colleagues that would disagree with sending a political message? Asking for myself and others that would love to approach this as you have
Before sending it we had a long discussion, designed to be as inclusive and respectful as possible. In particular, we made a #factcheck Slack room where anyone can contest a factual claim and argue for/against it, then a group of top employees votes on our official opinion.

I have recommended
@Expensify to every client for ~10 years, but I guarantee never again. I do not need vendors who decide to force their polical opinions on me. Do I agree with your options? You'll never know. Polical beliefs have nothing to do with expense reimbursements. -

As someone that has used Expensify in the past, I received this email. As someone that is about to launch a new company, I have made the decision to never use Expensify. Do not leverage your customer base to push your political beliefs. We’re in a business contract, not a forum.
