Yeah except when he was going off on how there will be zero cases of covid in April and that we are all exaggerating, full well knowing the damage that was going to do.

Like any engineer, he forms opinions based on the data at hand. It turned out the data was flawed and so any predictions were inaccurate.

Don't you remember the rhetoric at the beginning of lock down? "14 days of lockdown will flatten the curve and give our hospitals time to recover" this was over a month ago, plus other countries were reporting no new deaths.

I'm an engineer and it was very clear to me that was never going to be the case, and the data certainly never gave any indication that would be the case. Any prediction, just as the predictions today, are more based on hopes and dreams vs the data!
