Per the physicians at UCMC, Damar’s breathing tube was removed overnight. He continues to progress remarkably in his recovery. His neurologic function remains intact and he has been able to talk to his family and care team.
Congratulations to Mayor Pete Saenz for finishing his tenure as the Mayor of Laredo. He was a role model of a servant leader, engaging in constructive dialogue advocating for the interest of his community, region and Texas. Thank you for your service!
