      Things I did not realize you could do in the 2018 edition of @rustlang, use Cargo's rename dependency feature to explicitly pull in two versions of the same crate, with different names: https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/blob/6c60e3a026540e381fa5ace6edec6a760568b0ff/src/tools/rustbook/Cargo.toml#L13-L23 … Possibly cursed.

      You can do it on older toolchains too by using a shim crate, like inhttps://github.com/serde-rs/legacy
