Obviously these numbers would be much higher if only our complicit media would just pay a little more attention to the #Russia story.

We've all made that mistake of late. Our reality is impossible to parody.
-
When Twitter sarcasm becomes too indistinguishable from reality, you know we're knocking on the door of the 9th circle of hell here on Earth
-
Also I thought I was already following you on here, corrected that mistake just now

-
It is so strange, I keep seeing "who to follow" of people I've followed for years. Does Twitter unfollow people for you?
-
Yes, Twitter DOES unfollow people "for us"

Even worse... They follow people "for us!"

I can't believe some of the people showing up in my TL!

I don’t think the Russia story is the most important. 1) money in politics-it’s corrupting everything 2) voting integrity-we have none. Maybe this latest Russian story might give it more traction 3) disastrous health insurance situation 4) disastrous health care situation
-
The problem with the Russian narrative and voting integrity is that it’s not leading to a real discussion of the problems we have with our electoral system, it’s just scapegoating a foreign nation and shifting the blame
-
For 20 years, voting integrity activists have been howling that we have hackable, unauditable voting machines which are *privately owned by political operatives* - an obvious threat to our elections that the leadership has blatantly ignored.
-
Exactly. The wake-up call should’ve been 2000. But that couldn’t be blamed on Russia, so

I'm an American. I vote. Russia attacking our elections MATTER to me.

fascinating to me how, what, 90-95% of the public have no idea how banksters/wall street/ the Fed - whatever you wanna call it is the biggest thing completely screwing everyone - who's consequences are so much larger than they can imagine.
-
"poor leadership" could mean "corruption" to many people, which is a form of what you take issue with here.
-
was that for me or Sirota David ?

-
Meant for you. Part of the problem with Wall Street and Bankers is how much they corrupt the political system leading to poor leadership. It's possible that people really do understand the influence of these interests, but that it's not well reflected well in the poll.
-
Since "dissatisfaction with government / poor leadership" can mean very different things to different people, it's a poor option to include in a poll imo, and says a lot about nothing when it's the most popular response.
