    I think this is a key point often missed by people who object to leftist criticism of Dems. The point isn’t that a politician with bad policies is forever tainted and could never earn your vote. The point is to pressure them to embrace better policies.

    Yes, Gillibrand is very good at engaging with her critics, constituents and journalists. Even when I disagree with her policies, I appreciate that she generally doesn’t attack the media or criticize journalists for asking questions.

    I talk to , who, ironically, did more to help Beto than O'Rourke's alleged supporters who slammed Sirota. Politicians don't need enablers. They need to be pushed to be better. That's what happened when Beto said he'd support the green new deal.
