You'd have to be selfish and illogical to oppose Medicare For All because of a love for your union health insurance that lowers your wages. This is the epitome of being blinded by fear. Disgraceful.

I have railroad union health care and still pay so much OOP. I can hardly afford mental health care for my year old with ADHD and anxiety. I don't go to my therapist so I can afford his. We are struggling even with "good" insurance.

It makes no sense to me why a union member would give up the chance at better, less expensive, more reliable HC insurance. It would take away a bargaining chip FROM THEIR COMPANY, allowing the union to focus their bargaining effort on better pay, working conditions & pensions!pic.twitter.com/UdOXW7xQT8

Just like in '16 corrupt union leadership may well stand with the establishment candidate. But just like in '16 the union bases knows who there champion in Washington is, and it's Bernie Sanders, not Joe Biden.

Universal healthcare would strengthen the position of a bargaining union. During the GM strike the first thing they did was take away striking workers' healthcare.
