          Earlier today, @BrianMannADK tweeted that if Cobb had “some history of raising taxes in a notable way not common for local gov leaders”, we would report it.

          In my nearly 20 years of reporting in the North Country, I have seen nearly every county – Democrat or Republican-led – raise some kind of fee, or increase the bed tax. Those things are in fact “common for local gov leaders”, as Brian writes.

          When you vote to Raise taxes.. you voted to raise taxes. Holy moses you're now trying to say that's inaccurate? Had to raise tax to meet budget? "Had to". That's a tax increase.
