    perfect description of PETERLOO--Mike Leigh makes exposition and historiography seem symphonic

    There's a moment where a woman starts singing at the beginning of PETERLOO and I got way too excited that it was about to be a musical. The thing is, it kind of is! Just with crazy, fired-up, super-British speechifying instead of musical numbers
