There have been two homicides in the last nine days in CHOP. Per Seattle PD data: In 2019 there were two homicides in all of Capitol Hill. In 2018, there was one. In 2017, there were none. In 2019, there were 18 fatal shootings in Seattle. TODAY alone, there were 2 and it may become 4 if the 14 year-old boy shot at CHOP and the domestic violence suspect in north Seattle succumb to their injuries.

Um, there are more people in Capitol Hill than usual? Based on available facts, the shooters knew their victims - so it’d likely have occurred, CHOP or elsewhere. The
@seattletimes is close to saying it’s important now that shootings are in Cap Hill instead of Central District. -
