1. If you don't have direct deposit set up w the IRS & you haven't filed your 2019 tax return, then you should file your 2019 tax return so you don't have to wait for the paper mail check. (thread)

On a different note, if your income is less than $56K/yr, you may be eligible to receive a federal tax credit refund, & if under $30K/yr (and you're a CA resident), a CA tax credit refund as well.
