    I never accept a medical opinion, as I’m not a medical expert myself. I recall Elle McPherson once said she only read what she wrote herself. Can we require minimum standards of intelligence of our elected representatives?

    The smart AC controller seems like a good idea, but the IR sender on it is very weak. So in my case it doesn't work when the window is open. Meanwhile the AC remote works fine from anywhere in the room regardless of window.
