I agree that most bots are shit, but Mary Meekers Internet Trends data shows that bot usage is actually increasing.

@samhaseltine origin story of Twitter is super interesting to me. The problem they were solving with TxtMob was real. -
@davidjbland yeh I think that's fair. But I would extend similar sentiment to 'bots'. I see value in the concept but not today's application
