In BACK TO THE FUTURE, I don't know what purpose it serves having Marty's uncle in prison. Him telling the baby to get used to the bars is funny but nothing Marty is doing is going to keep him out of prison.

Baby driver. The romantic plotpoint is rushed. It feels slightly less rushed if you watch it in context of a musical (as Edgar wright tried to make it as) but it still feels not so organic, if that makes sense.

The scene with that weird gatling gun in The Dark Knight. For the life of me, I can't figure what the point was in shooting more bricks with that thing. They have brick with the bullet in it already, so why the gun and the extra bricks?

The whole Cameron Diaz can't cry part of The Holiday. Everything else is charming but that part is just weird and useless.

I rewatched recently and I don't remember that moment, but yes, it's such a smart movie. Underrated, even.
