In many places fireworks are illegal because they're considered dangerous... but assault weapons are not.

Serious ?. Why is it that after it has been proven 100x over that an AR is not an “assault rifle”, so many people still continue to use the word? Is it to make it seem scarier? An AR15 is basically this rifle but with black plastic and metal on it. You can buy this at Walmart.pic.twitter.com/g1vHIRn1hU

All of you on here calling David names like coward & pussy have no idea what it’s like to live with PTSD. I know a few soldiers that can’t handle fireworks, a car backfiring, even movies with a lot of repetitive banging noises. Are they babies too?

The rifle in that picture has the same rate of fire as an AR, takes the same magazines and shoots the same ammunition. That is fact. Your feelings about the matter hold no weight or consequence. Especially considering they are wrong.

Or not? I was in a cab once when fireworks went off, both the driver & I freaked & dropped our bodies before realizing I live in Chicago, not PTSD to assume it might be gunshots

In Ireland we have the luxory of hearing fireworks, cars backfiring etc without immediately jumping to the conclusion that it is a shooting. Every civilised country should have that luxory.

I moved to Ireland from Arizona. The difference is amazing. I can walk home at night without fearing for my life.
