People die all the time of something. Very few of them (<1%) are killed by guns. What makes dying of gun violence more important than 99% of the other causes of deaths?

Well, we aren't going to ignore the hatred. They need to be called out

My kid attended a talk at school on LGBT rights. She said it was nice, but nothing new. I told her sometimes it's more about encouraging others that they aren't alone in doing the right thing, than teaching new things. Speaking out against hate teaches that hate is unacceptable.
