My school is one story and almost every classroom is only accessible via one long hallway. In the hallway there is only one other exit on the far end and 2 pairs of side exits. The doors have little glass windows. If a shooter were to attack my school most of us would be gone.

No, we cannot. And we could not. I am a Ph.D American history specialist, and I have been fighting the NRA’s propaganda for decades. The 2nd Amendment was never intended for individual ownership because most households couldn’t afford guns - the militia owned them.

When I was David's age our school practice drills were what to do when Russia dropped an atom bomb on us. Times have changed but fear remains the same. A red wave sounds like a communistic way to take our country. Good luck with that.
