The problem with this date is the other unfortunate associations: Birthday of the leader of the failed Nazi party that gave us WW2 (the Columbine shooters apparently chose 4/20 for that reason), and it is the day a lot of people choose as a “legalize marijuana smoke out” day

Note, the guard is trained, licensed and bonded/insured. There's no such requirement for an 18 year old when purchasing a rifle.
