We're planning a Meet-the-Candidates evening on the 20th too, though.
@DrakeUniversity and the Black and Brown Forum. (No way we'd ever get Joni Ernst or Chuck Grassley to attend, tho. NRA shills, the both of 'em.) -
I hope you will ask their opponents to hold a town hall.

Yes and they can walk right out to a town. You must teach the kids about civil disobedience. I interviewed Mary Beth Tinker yesterday. She was so awesome. I was a member of SNCC in the 60s it’s always been the students. You need to do sit ins too.

I think that @redvelvetsea might be onto something regarding the walkouts. If you can’t get the elected officials there appoint someone from the school or schools to represent their views and have mock townhalls that day. I also think the other town halls are a great idea!

April 21st. The day after the Columbine anniversary is a Saturday. Members should be back in their home districts then and they can address how things will be changed before Columbine tragedy reaches its 20th anniversary in 2019.
