Why take out Chicago and DC? Those deaths are meaningless to you? As for Chicago, guns are freely available in Indiana, folks just have to drive there. A state can be as strict as it likes, but if the other states are not, people will go there.

It’s not about blame. It’s about changing what isn’t working and eliminating the common denominators (access to high capacity magazines, rapid fire weapons, broken databases that aren’t shared, lack of access to mental health support/healthcare, special interest laws).

Cruz didn’t use high capacity magazines or rapid fire weapons, whatever that means. Government didn’t do its job, the coward resource officer didn’t do his. So many failures but let’s blame the NRA.
