So what are you proposing? Because from what I've seen the rhetoric as been a ban on ill defined "assault rifles". Or "full semi automatic" black rifles. lol. ALL long guns are < 3% of all gun deaths. Restricting AR-15s solves nothing.

That people with a criminal history, a history of domestic violence and a history of mental health issues are not able to get guns while law abiding citizens can still exercise their 2nd amendment rights sound reasonable?

Then maybe you should demand school safety and not gun control. There are different in both. Gun control is disarming responsible owner. School safety is about keeping children safe while at school. Look what happened when you trusted the government your classmates died.
