I was the organizer of the protest, and we have all been released. It was a little more challenging for the two minors who risked arrest, but we were all processed in a reasonable amount of time. We were proud to stand with you in this fight

Tip-always keep a picture ID and a hundred dollar bill under the lining of your gymshoe. It’s enough to get you released on bond if you don’t get an IBond(released on your own recognizance without cash).

Hi! I was one of the kids who got arrested. We’re all ok and out of booking. Please let us know if there is anything we can possibly do to help further the movement and support you guys at Stoneman Douglas.

Did you guys get fined?

It’s illegal to arrest someone for peacefully protesting. It’s their freedom of speech and they can 100% take this to court.

That is not the law

Are you surprised? This happened during the Civil Rights Movement. People always get arrested during movements when they fight for what is right. They should be proud.

Yes, exactly. Many in history have been arrested and in the past beaten by police just for standing up and fighting for what is right - civil rights, women’s rights, student rights, anti war, voting, equality.
