The governor of Kentucky has cut education funding so bad, we can’t afford basic school supplies. We have a HORRIBLE bus driver shortage right now bc the pay is HORRIBLE! The resource centers are begging for donations. If we can’t provide necessities, how can we afford guns??

Oh, I'm sure you'd be expected to provide your own just like many teachers already have to provide many of their own supplies.

Other countries history shows that school shootings last exactly 0 minutes when the disgruntled student has NO GUN

Perfect response! Yes, we have regressed into a country that is run by the gun lobby.
#gunlobbyrunsourcountry. Stop the gun culture!

why don't we demand funding to study gun violence as a public health issue https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2018/02/gun-violence-public-health/553430/ …

Plus teachers need to have trust and connection in the room, to pass information from themselves to you. The hostility that the very presence of a gun brings would shut down that necessary linkage.

Do we want our kids surrounded by weapons in school what childhood is that? This isn't some war torn country yet. More people with big guns?

Teachers buy their own chalk and pencils. To put money into classroom guns and firearm training but not into basic learning materials is an insult to the education system.
