Dude, maybe you should he pissed at ypur history teacher. We live in a Republic, not a democracy. Democracy is mob rule. Republic is where the will of the many may not infringe on the rights of the few.

This is why we homeschool we do not have a democracy we have a republic I'd only Republic but I constitutionally restrained Republic. We have democratically elected leaders meaning majority or plurality of the voting body. But we do not have a direct democracy
