Rant: For most of Gen Z -America has been at war almost our entire life -Global warming -Daily we see the future of our country being buried with the young people that die from gun violence -Huge student debt -Many of us were evicted from college with a week notice
-We are disproportionately harmed economically by COVID because while many of us pay our own bills we don't get stimulus checks because we are claimed as a dependent.
-Our generation has been the subject of a discussing experiment to hollow out the public education system into a for-profit shell to make billions through standardized tests that really only end up being a measure of income inequality.
-We live in a surveillance state thanks to the 357 congress members and 98 senators that voted for the Patriot Act. -We have a president that tells people to drink bleach
Yet we are expected to solve all of these things while being told we have been through nothing. I however, have hope change will come because we have lived the consequences of intolerance and incompetence. Luckily we can fix these problems and others all we have to do is vote.
So sorry. Many of us who fought against wars, supported the green movement and civil rights in the 60s and 70s and on, tried to leave you a better world. We were outnumbered.
Not so different from rest of us. I graduated during one of worst markets for entry level. I worked at a gas station for awhile. Countless recessions, change from 1 income family to 2 incomes needed. We will be lucky though as climate change won't kill us.
Oh yeah, if you look at it, it think there is less than 20 years in our history that we have not been in war or military condlict.
It seems overwhelming now, but fighting against evil is constant. When I grew up in the 60s, they assassinated every equality leader in our nation. Jack, Malcolm, Dr. King, Bobby - they assassinated them one by one until none were left standing. We kept going. You can do this! 
I don't know how you sleep at night worrying so much about Global Warming. You kids have to deal with student debt? What a new problem that has arose...Imagine the kids who weren't born into a wealthy family. These poor kids. Get them a glass of warm milk STAT!
