Both political parties play part in this. The Republican Party and the Democratic Party do not care about the future of this country, our foreign policy, or the global climate crisis. They are inept, toothless, and bound to special interests rather than their constituents.

Inept is not correct. They are highly effective at catering to their billionaire and corporate masters. They do not care about the masses.
