If we want to stop being collectively kicked in the teeth as a generation we have to vote and fix this country ourselves. The "adults" in power will continue to do nothing to protect our future until we force them to with our vote.

As an older, life-long Democrat, I am counting on you to get out and vote! I’ve voted in every election since I was 18. Lots of exhilaration, many disappointments. We must fight the disillusionment, must never give up. Thank you for leading the charge!

I'm almost 40, and the "adults" in power still call Millennials like me kids and probably will for life. Many of the same people have been in office since I was your age. Voting is the only way to create change, but having new people running for office is also essential.

I think many young (20-40 year old) must admit to the lack of contribution to our elections. Historically, younger voters don’t get involved, don’t keep up with any current political events and mostly, DON’T VOTE. You have to admit this is true. We do need youth to get involved.
