It's actually pretty easy. Use pcpartpicker to ensure your parts are compatible. After that it's just putting bits together, and there's usually one one place most components will fit.

David. Over the years, I've built several from scratch. Believe me, it's faster & cheaper to buy one, brand new. Price will be different from brand to brand. It depends on what you want the machine to do. I wouldn't go "nuts" on price. Cause in 6 months, it will be outdated.
