For young people 2020 is about the Supreme Court. Our entire generation is even more fucked then we already are if we lose in 2020 because the SCOTUS will stop any progress we make.

When trump stole the election in 2016 it effectively screwed everyone, your generation is screwed even if trump loses in 2020 because of all the judges Moscow Mitch has been appointing to life time positions! We owe your generation an enormous apology, many of us tried however!

Every election for the last 40 years should have been about the Supreme Court. Why the Democrats have refused to do that is a continuing mystery to me.

Because we get too caught up in the "ideal” candidate and tear down every candidate who doesn't rise to perfection. The only path to a more progressive agenda is through SCOTUS. Dems and progressives need to grasp this or we're doomed for decades to come.

The SCOTUS is only the tip of the iceberg. The majority of cases don't make it that far. Stacking the lower courts with conservative ideologues is as troubling though less glamarous.
